Jace enjoying Rice Cereal!

Jace at 4 months!

Jace is definitely growing each day and is such a happy little guy. He is now eating rice cereal once a day. He loves the rice cereal for a little while and then he usually gets a little frustrated half way through for some milk. I think it is because he is so used to getting full pretty quick with nursing or a bottle. We will try oatmeal next once he gets a little more used to the rice cereal.

Jace is also almost rolling over. He can move from side to side then from back to stomach. He has also found a new love for tummy time. I think it is because he can lift his head up to a 45 degree angle, look from side to side, and he can keep an eye on Mommy and Daddy at all times lol. He now enjoys his playmate for almost an hour or more several times throughout each day. Jace also loves going on long walks each evening in his stroller. We take him and the dogs around the big loop in our new neighborhood. He smiles, giggles, and laughs at us throughout the entire walk. He also loves staring at the trees and sky.

At his 4 month check-up on the 18th, he weighed 13lbs and 9 oz. with a wet diaper on and he is now 24 inches long. This puts him in the 25% percentile for both height and weight. Jace is such a happy boy at each appointment and he also loves all of the Nurses in the practice.

Pictures with Cousins Caden & Connor!

This morning Jeremy, Jace and I met my Mother in Law, Aunt Tonya, and both Caden and Connor at Picture Innovations in Winter Garden. We wanted some pics of the boys together since we did not get any the last time they were in town. They turned out really cute especially the one of Connor and Jace together. Caden was so cute throughout the entire session running in and out of photos keeping himself very busy. Connor of course was all smiles throughout the entire session. It is definitely not hard at all to get that boy to smile! Jace was a little tired and did not really want to smile, but we did get a few. :)

Mother's Day and 3 Month Photo's!

I had today off of work so Jeremy and I decided to take Jace to The Picture People for his 3 month photos and Mother's Day photos for our home and the Grandmas. They did a fabulous job and I was very impressed with our photographer. We were finished in 15 minutes and Jace was very happy and smiley during the entire session. We will definitely be going back to PP for future photos. After the session, we walked the Millenia Mall. I also discovered that Baby Gap has a nursing room in the back of every store. Now Jace and I can enjoy the mall a little more often.

Mommy is Home!

I started back to work a couple of weeks ago. It has not been as hard as I thought it would be because I know Jace is in good hands with his Daddy. I am so excited to come home from work and see him! Here are some pics of Jace playing on his back with both Mommy and Daddy lastnight.

2 month Check Up

Today, Jace had his 2 month check-up. We decided to go on the shot plan that did not require all of his shots at one time. Jace was smiling, kicking his legs, cooing, and giggling when we laid him down on the doctors table to be examined. Our doctor did not even have to ask us about his development because he was happily displaying all of them for her as well. Then Jace received his shots. I don't know what hurt worse Jace's thigh or Mommy and Daddy's hearts! Boy, they do not prepare you for that one, but they were nice enough to give us all a few minutes to recover. Jace now weighs 10lbs and is 22 inches long which puts him in the 10% percentile. What can we say? He is just a little guy! :)

Jace' First Easter!

We went to my Grandma and Granddad's house for Easter this year. Jace got to play with his cousin Junior on his new playmate we got him as an early Easter gift. We also got him an elmo basket with a ball inside and some links for his new playmate so he can reach his hanging toys a little better. Overall, we had a wonderful 1st Easter as a family of 3!!
