Play Date!

Yesterday, the Barrett's came over for a playdate and dinner. Jace was a little shy at first. We know he has been suffering from teething and may also have allergies. He finally warmed up halfway through their visit. Jace and Weston played so well together. I have never seen Jace sit with a child his age and play. They were so cute together and we look forward to many more years of fun with the Barrett family!

At the Car Wash!

Daddy took Jace to get the cars cleaned before the weekend. Jace did not like it so much! It was a little scary for him and he needed Daddy's hand.

Ketchup Face!

Daddy is at home with Jace today and stepped away while he was eating lunch for a minute and came back to a little boy who decided to face paint in ketchup lol. He also pulled "his thing" out during nap this afternoon and peed all over his shorts. Daddy definitely had his hands full today!!

Last night, our neighbors stopped by to show us their new dog so we decided to let Tiff and Nole out to meet her as well. Since we were out front the dogs started to venture off a little down the street as they usually do after awhile of free roam. Daddy started to call for them to come back and Jace joined in lol. He now says "Tiiiffffff" to both of them instead of "Titty." Also, this morning I was leaving for work and Jace had his back to me sitting on the couch and I said "Bye Jace" he then replied "Bye Mom" and waved from behind while watching his cartoons lol. Jeremy and I both were taken back laughing at what we just saw him do. Then I went to give him a kiss and he ducked me! Our little man is definitely growing up!!

Monthly Doc Check-up!

I just have to say I love my midwife, Lesann Dwyer! She takes her time with you and she even came and sat and chatted with me while I was waiting out front. She is also very thorough and I could not ask for a better experience this time around.

Jameson is also looking great! My belly is finally starting to show this week with regular clothes on. She said I am measuring fine, but baby Jameson is probably going to be a lot bigger than his big brother ever was. She said when she felt my belly all she could feel was a big baby in there! :)

Easter 2012!

We celebrated our first Easter at our new home for the first time. Both sides of our families were in attendance plus some. A special thanks to Aunt Tonya for helping she always does a fabulous job! Jace abosultely loved the egg hunt. He also loved his Easter baskets from the Easter bunny! We had lots of yummy food and great company. We could have not asked for a better day!!

My Mom and Ashley took the kids for Easter pictures today. Jace is not an age where it is easy to get him to cooperate during pictures so I was glad they got to see it firsthand lol. They did capture some really good ones and of course the lady lost them all! So here are some of the ones they did get.

2 Year Check-Up

Today, we finally were able to take Jace to his 2 year doctor checkup. He has been on and off fighting colds the past 6 weeks so we had to reschedule twice. He is now 33 1/2 inches tall (25-50%) and he weighs 25lbs (10-25%). The weight did not surprise us one bit because he can be a very picky 2 year old sometimes. His favorite food is now plain Lays potato chips and he asks for them frequently especially when he sees them in the pantry, at Publix and Target. He also loves Oreo's!

Jace can count to three and loves saying them while jumping off furniture. His favorite number is two. Go figure lol! He loves balloons and knows he gets one at the check-out line at Publix. He usually asks for the blue one. Jace also knows what pirates say and when you ask him he makes a face with one eye open and says "AARRRGG"! He still loves playing with his cars and is definitely our all boy toddler!!
