Easter 2012!

We celebrated our first Easter at our new home for the first time. Both sides of our families were in attendance plus some. A special thanks to Aunt Tonya for helping she always does a fabulous job! Jace abosultely loved the egg hunt. He also loved his Easter baskets from the Easter bunny! We had lots of yummy food and great company. We could have not asked for a better day!!

My Mom and Ashley took the kids for Easter pictures today. Jace is not an age where it is easy to get him to cooperate during pictures so I was glad they got to see it firsthand lol. They did capture some really good ones and of course the lady lost them all! So here are some of the ones they did get.

2 Year Check-Up

Today, we finally were able to take Jace to his 2 year doctor checkup. He has been on and off fighting colds the past 6 weeks so we had to reschedule twice. He is now 33 1/2 inches tall (25-50%) and he weighs 25lbs (10-25%). The weight did not surprise us one bit because he can be a very picky 2 year old sometimes. His favorite food is now plain Lays potato chips and he asks for them frequently especially when he sees them in the pantry, at Publix and Target. He also loves Oreo's!

Jace can count to three and loves saying them while jumping off furniture. His favorite number is two. Go figure lol! He loves balloons and knows he gets one at the check-out line at Publix. He usually asks for the blue one. Jace also knows what pirates say and when you ask him he makes a face with one eye open and says "AARRRGG"! He still loves playing with his cars and is definitely our all boy toddler!!

Spring Break Beach Day!

Today we headed to over to Beverly Beach with my Mom and Cody to visit my brother Stephen and his family at their beachfront camp site. Jace had so much fun playing with his cousins and even learned how to throw sand at others. The water was very cold so Jace wanted nothing to do with it, but we tried to several times to get him to go in with his cousins. My mom made a delicious barbecue picnic lunch and we stayed long enough to get some much needed sun. We also took a 5 month photo of my belly on the beach and Ashley captured a cute photo of Jace throwing sand.

The New Zellwood Community Center Playground!

Today, we got to go to the grand opening of the new Zellwood Community Center Playgound that was donated to the City of Zellwood by a company called KaaBoom that is partnered with Disney. Daddy helped build it and that meant a lot to him being able to give back to the community he grew up in. Jace and his buddy Weston also had a blast being one of the first kids to check it out!!

BOY!

I knew it!! Daddy was wrong this time. I saw it before anyone else did. "I said is that a penis?" The sonographer said "yes" and highlighted the male area. Jace is going to be a big brother to a little brother! We could not be happier!! He is still a little mover and was in a ball for the first half of the sonogram. The heartbeat came in at 159bpm.
