8 Month Photos!

Jace the Spelling Bee!

In the past year, Jace has started to put some words together with his foam letters. The first one was CAT right before Jameson was born, then EAT last week and today STOP. So proud of him! What can I say he is our little letter loving boy!! :) 

3 Year Check Up!

We were a little behind with our 3 year check up due to Jace being so sick last year. He was a complete wild ham throughout the entire appointment. The nurse practitioner took full blame for laughing at him and it did spin him up. He weighed in at 29lbs which is no surprise because he eats alot some days and others not so much. Jace is all Daddy to a tee! He is 36 inches tall. He is still projected to be 5'8 or 5'9. We always tell him he better start eating or his baby brother is going to catch him soon ;)

Jace is still obsessed with letters he can count 1-20. The #1 is called "No" and 20 is "100." We try to correct him but he is certain he is right lol. He will figure it out someday. He can count by 10's and can even make 1-100 (20) out of his letters. Jace also knows all his colors. He is starting to put together some words together and even some lower case letters. He recently put together and even created "little i" for me out his foam letters. He is constantly putting together his ABC's and 1-20 lining them up across the floors and the bath walls. When anyone comes over he has to put on a letter video and will say the parts he knows with the video lol. 

He loves to go outside and play with the neighboorhood kids. He gets up in his playground fort and will look and call out for them. His vocabulary has increased tremendously in the past few months. He is turning into a little sponge. He tells on the dogs, his brother, us or anyone occassionally lol. Everyone close to him has been called a "bad boy" because he is recognizing right from wrong. He loves to take walks, go to the park and to be read to before bed. Our little big guy is definitely growing up and we are so proud of all of his accomplishments!

The boys play pretty good together. Jameson still adores and watches his big brother Jace. Jace is pretty good with Jameson and is learning to share or trade toys with him.

Soccer!

Today Jace started Soccer at a local indoor field with his Cousin Connor. He did pretty good learning the skills to play the game. He even kicked a few goals with Daddy by his side!
